Support

We want to support the global aquaculture industry. With so much potential out there we fell that great quality training can help individuals and companies reach their goals.

Aquaculture is an amazing industry to be a part of. We want to help encourage more people to be part of this community and help those already involved to reach their full potential.

There are so many incredible examples of innovation in aquaculture. We want to help drive it and give people the tools and knowledge to help support new ideas.
Who are we?

Denise Hearn

Denise grew up all over the world but did all of her education in the UK. She has a Bachelors degree with honors in marine biology and a masters in sustainable aquaculture. After helping to set up a marine reserve in Madagascar when she was 18 she became passionate about marine conservation. Overfishing was a major concern for her and she felt that Aquaculture was part of the solution. She's since worked all over the world with a range of different species. Now she is a passionate teacher/trainer in all things aquaculture.

Simon Schmidt

Simon is a tech wizard and an expert learning designer. He has experience in teaching and in tech development. Simon has been involved in the creation of many online aquaculture courses in New Zealand and he is passionate about the future of aquaculture.
