What we'll take you through

In this course we start start by making sure everyone is on the same page with a quick introduction to aquaculture, a stop to discuss some of the environmental issues before jumping into the key reasons why aquaculture is so important for the future. We then finish off by finding out what its like to work in the industry and why people choose it for their career.

Denise has been involved in aquaculture for about 20 years. She has been educating people about marine conservation and aquaculture since 2012 and continues to do so to this day. She has worked all over the world with a large range of different species, including sea weed, micro algae, lobsters, shrimp, clownfish, salmon, mussels, crayfish, kingfish, amberjacks, grouper and many more. She has worked in RAS, in large flow through systems and offshore aquaculture. Denise is passionate about the environment and about aquaculture.
